Dean's Message

Dear Students;

Economic development of countries is possible only with educated manpower. Vocational education is a compulsory process for educated manpower. Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Ömer Seyfettin Faculty of Applied Sciences, which was established with this perspective, aims to; To give students enough professional knowledge and to bring students into society as a modern citizen who can think independently, do research and make the right decision, and have a creative thinking.

We provide education with departments such as the International Trade and Logistics Department, Management Information Systems, Media and Communication, which were established with the decision taken at the YÖK Executive Board meeting on 9/12/2015. We are preparing to provide education in critical areas of current life with departments such as Public Relations and Advertising, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department.

Ömer Seyfettin Faculty of Applied Sciences International Trade and Logistics Department started its activities as primary and secondary education in 2016-2017 academic year, Management Information Systems Department and Media and Communication Department in 2017-2018 academic year as primary and secondary education. Our departments have not graduated yet.

There are 6 Associate Professors, 10 Dr. in 3 departments where education and training activities continue in our faculty. Lecturer. Its members, 6 Research Assistants and 4 administrative staff are on duty.

Optional preparatory training is provided in the International Trade and Logistics, Management Information Systems, Media and Communication departments of our faculty.

I believe that we will achieve our goals in a short time with the support of my colleagues and stakeholders working in our academic and administrative staff. The fact that our faculty is located in Bandırma, which is a port, commercial and logistics city, and the effective support of public and private sector representatives is our most important advantage while walking towards our goals.
