Communication Sciences

The Department of Communication Sciences conducts its research in a very broad framework of social theory such as communication sociology, social psychology, communication law, communication philosophy and political communication. Main study topics are; democracy, public sphere, the relationship between media and power, media representation, identity, gender and election campaigns.

Mass Communication Theories, Turkish Political Life, Effective Communication and Presentation Skills, Persuasion and Perception Management, Corporate Communication, Crisis Communication and Reputation Management, Media, Politics and Culture courses are given under our department.
