Entrepreneurship and History Meet in Ankara: Our Student Community Organized a Capital Program
Our Department’s International Trade Student Community organized a technical and cultural trip to Ankara, where students explored both the entrepreneurship ecosystem and the symbolic landmarks of our Republic.
The two-day program began with meetings with key actors of the entrepreneurship ecosystem and events aimed at enhancing sectoral vision.
Breakfast with Entrepreneurship Leaders: On the first day, students met with Mr. Abdullah OSKAY, the Founder of Baz Girişim, and his team during a breakfast event. They had the opportunity to engage in an inspiring conversation about entrepreneurship journeys and sector experiences. The networking session, accompanied by coffee, provided valuable insights for our students.
Turkish States Entrepreneurship Summit & Government Support: Students participated in the Turkish States Entrepreneurship Summit, where they learned about innovation visions and future trade routes of the Turkic world. They also met Government Support Consultant Ms. Zehra Ece ÖZ. With an informative session by Mr. Zafer ÖZ, students gained detailed knowledge on government support and incentive mechanisms essential for entrepreneurs.
In the Presence of Atatürk & Tracing History: On the second day, students visited Anıtkabir to pay their respects to the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. They later toured the Second Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (Republic Museum), one of the symbolic venues of our economic independence and republican history.
The Ankara trip, where professional vision, cultural awareness, and historical consciousness were blended harmoniously, concluded with the group’s return to Bandırma.
