ACCESSIBLE UNIVERSITY COORDINATOR LIST
This section provides the list of coordinators responsible for ensuring equal access to academic, social, and physical processes for all students, with and without disabilities, at our University. The inter-unit communication network is presented in a clear and accessible manner to facilitate prompt access to the required support mechanisms.

Accessibility in Physical Space Award – Orange Flag

ACCESSIBLE FACULTY – ACCESSIBLE DEPARTMENT
Our University was awarded the Orange Flag at the 2024 Accessible University Awards, organized by the Council of Higher Education within the scope of its work under the themes of “Accessible Access” and “Accessible Education.”
At the 2024 Accessible University Awards, our Ömer Seyfettin Faculty of Applied Sciences received the Orange Flag under the “Accessibility in Physical Space Award” category. The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences also received Orange Flag awards in the same category.
The “Accessible University Awards” have been presented since 2018 to encourage the creation of an accessible ecosystem at universities. In 2024, 1,709 applications were submitted by 112 universities, and 76 universities were awarded a total of 319 flags.

NUMBER OF STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS ENROLLED IN THE DEPARTMENT
According to our Department’s records, there are no students with special needs who declared such a condition or requested support in this regard during the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year.
DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
Department Representatives for Students with Disabilities contribute to ensuring that all students, with and without disabilities, receive the support they need in academic and social processes. They strengthen communication between students and the Unit Coordination Office and support the effective implementation of accessibility initiatives.

EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
This Emergency Action Plan presents the necessary steps in a clear and accessible manner to ensure the safety of all individuals, with and without disabilities. It serves as a guide to enable everyone to act quickly, appropriately, and equitably in emergencies.
