Derpartment of International Trade and Logistics

History

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University was established in accordance with the law numbered 6640 published in the Official Gazette numbered 29335 dated 23 April 2015.

The Department of International Trade and Logistics, established by a decision taken at the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Executive Board meeting on December 9, 2015, began operating in the 2016-2017 academic year with a total quota of 120 students, 60 for formal education and 60 for evening education. Since 2016, it has also offered graduate programs with and without thesis. With dozens of graduates, the International Trade and Business thesis and non-thesis master's programs continue to contribute to the industry and academia.

Our department currently provides education and training to 685 active students. Due to the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) halting student admission to evening programs, there are still second-, third-, and fourth-year evening education students continuing their education. Our first-year students only benefit from formal education and training services.

Since its establishment, our department has hosted faculty members from many different fields of expertise in research, development, education and training activities. It continues to add different perspectives to our students with qualified faculty members who hold the title of associate professor in fields such as International Trade, Management and Organization, Finance and Marketing.
