Lojistik Topluluğu Mars Lojistik Terminali'ne ve Kumport Limanı'na Teknik Gezi Gerçekleştirdi

The Logistics Society, a student group of the International Trade and Logistics Department at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, conducted a technical field trip to Kumport Port and Mars Logistics Terminal on April 3, 2026, accompanied by Research Assistant İrem Helvacıoğlu.

The first stop was Mars Logistics Terminal, where Operations Manager Berat Emci, Özüm Ezgi Demir, and Beyza Beyit provided comprehensive information about the terminal's operations and intermodal transportation processes.

Next stop was Kumport Port, where Operations Manager Paris Pars provided information about the port's history, operational processes, and services offered; followed by an on-site inspection of the port area. Organizational Development and Corporate Communication Specialist Cansu Yıldız also accompanied the students throughout the visit, answering their questions.

Through this technical field trip, students had the opportunity to observe terminal and port operations firsthand, reinforcing their theoretical knowledge with information gained from industry professionals and gaining practical field experience.
