The Department Orientation Programme for the 2025-2026 Academic Year was Organised

The opening of the 2025-2026 Academic Year and the Department Orientation Programme for new students in our Department were organised. The opening speech of the programme was delivered by our Department Chair, Prof. Dr. Harun YILDIZ. Following this, our Department Vice-Chair, Assoc. Prof. Ahmed Yusuf SARIHAN, and our Department Faculty Members; Prof. Dr. Çağatay BAŞARIR, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Müjde AKSOY, and Dr. Elif KOÇ introduced themselves to our students and conveyed their best wishes along with valuable information.

The programme continued with an Orientation Presentation. In the presentation, Research Assistants İrem HELVACIOĞLU, Müsemma ÇÖKERDENOĞLU and H.Baycan KUŞULAR informed our students about: UBYS Usage, Course Selection, Course Enrolment and Withdrawal, Graduation Criteria, BANU Mobile - PingPong Applications, Academic and Career Counsellors, Counsellor Consultation Hours, Disciplinary Rules, Examination Rules, Smoke-Free Campus, ÇAP - Minor Opportunities, Student Exchange Programmes (Erasmus), Internships, Employment Opportunities (Private-Public-Academic), Student Communities, Our University's Facilities and Units, Quality and Accreditation Process, and KAP Process. The programme concluded with a tour of the Campus Area, University Facilities and Departments, where our 3rd and 4th-year students acted as mentors to our new students.
